I would take the descriptions off after the first introduction of the people. The B-Roll was really good, I liked that you showed the movies as the people were discussing them.
The B roll footage of the films they were talking about was great. Various interviewees was interesting and good framing of the subjects. A better mic to boost up the clarity and loudness would have made it better.
I liked the emotion you captured from each of the interviewees and their connection with movies. The only weakness I thought was the framing on some of the shots.
Good use of movie clips. I liked the flow of questions, to people, to clips.
I had trouble hearing at certain points, a better audio system may have needed to have been used. I would have liked to hear from more people as well. I also would have liked to have seen people in different settings. The backgrounds weren't very exciting.
I felt that everyones opinions and thoughts on their choice of movie was good, not just i like such and such movie. The audio could have been improved a bit also.
Good job! I liked the way you used the clips from movies for your b roll and you did a good job editing them with the interview shots. A few of the interview subjects seemed a little too close to the camera for me.
I think its relatable to everyone because, everyone loves movies. I liked that you included footage from the films they talked about. B-roll from a movie theatre or video store could've been useful, just to show that movies can become an event for people.
I like the different camera angles from each interview and using footage from the movies they talked about was helpful. Maybe adding different kinds of b-roll like film rolling or popcorn, remote ?

ReplyDeleteThe B roll was really well put. Good interviews
ReplyDeleteSome good movie clips in there. Obviously the audio could be better, but that seems like a common problem (mine too). Overall good job.
